This ethereal installation transforms the traditional zoetrope into a three-dimensional sculptural experience, where dozens of tissue paper birds appear to take flight in an endless cycle of motion that surrounds viewers in a cylinder of animated air.

Each tissue paper bird is a delicate sculpture in itself, constructed from layers of translucent white, cream, pale green and pink tissue paper that capture the lightness and fragility of actual bird anatomy. The wings are particularly detailed, with individual "feather" sections created from carefully layered tissue that moves. The birds are suspended at varying heights within the cycle, creating a dynamic three-dimensional flight path that spirals upward as it rotates.
